Being a Facilitator meant growth, shared love, and sisterhood to me. Cheering for our Sakhis’ stories and paying it forward by holding hands, listening, and being present whenever possible. I learned to be patient, became a better listener, and gained confidence in communication. The journey fulfilled me outside of my college hustle and internships, providing a space for reflection and for discovering similar stories. In the end, I grew closer to the girls around me, shaped by the uplifting perspective I gained through the program.

Joining KARM Awaaz was not an easy journey. We went through both an application process and an interview round, but the experience was truly beautiful. I learned valuable leadership skills, such as the importance of creating a strong resume, building a professional LinkedIn profile, and becoming financially independent. We had the opportunity to meet many entrepreneurs whose journeys inspired us to never give up. Our mentors not only equipped us with leadership skills but also guided us in our job search. Along the way, I made friends who supported me and boosted my confidence. KARM Awaaz was a journey filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable memories.

KARM Aawaz has been a place where I have learnt various skills which helped me in my professional life a lot whether it's find intership or presenting myself in the fields which I am interested in. The one thing which will always stay close to my heart is the KARM Talks session that we used to have. Having said that,  through KARM Aawaz I got to learn alot of things about myself too.  KARM Aawaz works for uplifting young woman so that they can be financially independent. That's the the reason behind why I opt for becoming a facilitator there. I was blessed to be a sakhi and therefore I want to make sure that other women also understand why becoming financially independent is important. As a facilitator I am all set to give my contribution to enable her vision.

As a Sakhi, KARM Awaaz has been a transformative journey for me. It gave me a platform to learn and grow. It was a safe space where I connected with amazing women.  My experience throughout the tenure taught me the importance of active listening. I have carried forward the confidence of stating my thoughts fearlessly. As KARM awaaz transformed me to someone better, gave me a safe space and it helped me discover my voice where i stayed silent. I'd love to do the same and better for other women, I want to empower them just as I was empowered here and want them to find their community.
