How does it
Work?
The Train-the-Trainer Model
- KARM partners with you.
- You nominate facilitators or student leaders interested in leading conversations.
- KARM trains the nominated facilitators.
- Each facilitator conducts sessions using Veda modules in their community (group of 5-30).
- Over 6-10 months, they build community, capacity, and collaboration.
The KARM Fellow led DU Model
- KARM Fellows interested in facilitation apply internally.
- The KARM team selects and trains facilitators.
- Facilitators deliver the KARM Veda program to their Sakhis.
- Each cohort meets monthly for guided conversations based on the Veda.
- *Sakhis are college-going girls from EWS backgrounds in Delhi University.
Sakshi
Facilitator, 2024-25
Being a Facilitator meant growth, shared love, and sisterhood to me. Cheering for our Sakhis’ stories and paying it forward by holding hands, listening, and being present whenever possible. I learned to be patient, became a better listener, and gained confidence in communication. The journey fulfilled me outside of my college hustle and internships, providing a space for reflection and for discovering similar stories. In the end, I grew closer to the girls around me, shaped by the uplifting perspective I gained through the program.
