The KARM Graduate Fellowship has been instituted to enable girls from economic disadvantage, who aspire for a degree from Delhi University, in their quest to achieve financial independence and longevity at work places.
While supporting her financially, KARM will, in parallel, enhance her employability through English language learning, steady mentoring, career skills and community service, in a nurturing and caring environment.
KARM Graduate Fellowship
The KARM Graduate Fellowship has been instituted to enable girls from economic disadvantage, who aspire for a degree from Delhi University, in their quest to achieve financial independence and longevity at work places.
While supporting her financially, KARM will, in parallel, enhance her employability through English language learning, steady mentoring, career skills and community service, in a nurturing and caring environment.
Eligibility
Open only to female candidates who wish to study at Delhi University.
The combined family income of the applicant must not exceed INR 5 Lakhs per annum.
At the time of application, the candidate must be pursuing grade 12.
The candidate must display basic proficiency in English and use of technology.
Pillars of the
Graduate Fellowship
Education
A 3-year degree enabled by the following financial support: Tuition & Exam Fees, Personal Laptops, Books Stipend, Travel and Internet Allowance, Delhi Allowance for residents and Rental Allowance for outstation Fellows.
Mentoring
Mentoring is an essential pillar of the KARM philosophy. Based on the simple and enduring philosophy of ‘pay-it-forward,’ KARM matches experience and wisdom with youth and ambition to create magic. Deeply cognisant of the lack of accessible role models and guidance in society, KARM Mentoring fills an essential gap, in a gradual, studied and sure way focusing on the well-being, skill-building, guidance and ambition of the young KARM Fellow.
Employability
Careful group and personalised interventions to enhance employability – from oral and written English language lessons, to tech skills, career counselling sessions to internships and corporate immersions and talks by industry experts.
Community Service
50 hours of community work to build values and purpose, and create empathetic leaders.
