The KARM Law Fellowship is a reiteration of the founders’ commitment to enabling financial independence for young Indian women from economically underserved homes through a legal education. A powerful degree that allows its holders to build careers across industry, this is a definitive step towards empowerment.
Eligibility
Open only to female candidates who wish to study Law at any of the three centers of the Law Faculty at Delhi University, below the age of 24 (as on January 1st of the year immediately following the application).
The combined family income of the applicant must not exceed INR 5 Lakhs per annum.
The candidate should be in the final year of their undergraduate degree or should already have a degree from a recognised university in India.
The candidate must display basic proficiency in English and comfort with the use of technology.

Education
A 3-year degree enabled by the following financial support: Tuition & Exam Fees, Personal Laptops, Books Stipend, Internet and Travel Allowance, Delhi Allowance for Residents and Rental Allowance for outstation Fellows.

Mentoring
Consistent and predictable mentoring by legal professionals to ensure that the Fellow gets an understanding of the practical world of Law. Deeply cognisant of the lack of accessible role models and relevant professional guidance in society, KARM Mentoring fills an essential gap, in a gradual, studied and sure way focusing on the well-being, skill-building, guidance and ambition of the young KARM Fellow.

Community Service
35 hours of community work to build values and purpose and create empathetic leaders.

Employability
Steady interventions through the three years that include enhanced English language learning, Critical Thinking, Tech skills, regular internships with law firms, NGOs, Advocates and legal practitioners, in addition to personalised career guidance through counselling, corporate and court immersions and talks by experts.
